i have made anew cb plugin that will hide username filed in both registration and edit profile pages and set username to be = useremail without any hacks to original cb files or tables and you can switch this function on / off any time as any other cb plugin
works with all joomla and cb versions

Why? CB supports login with email or username or email only by default

thanks for your question but this plugin will make username = email while user make his registration as many people ask me for something like this as users some times forget their username but they always can remember they email

hi, exactly that is possible with CB out of the box. Check Configuration settings. Registration tab, afair.

i do not think that is available at registration tab
i search there and did not find this option

I see, you mean email only during registration process. I thought you were talking about the possibility of logging in with email instead of username. With reg. process I don't know if it is possible.
