Im stumped.

My CB profile pages are collapsing the right column of my Yootheme templete.

Ive attempted to correct this through templete hacks, css tweaks etc with no luck.

The only working solution I have found is to lock down my right column but that does not work on the site since I need the column to go away on some pages.

You can see here on the PUArcade page that the templete is functioning correctly:

The column also works with Sobi2, UDDEIM, etc, etc.

The column ONLY collapses (when it should not) when displaying CB or Kunena.

I have seen this issue posted by quite a few people across multiple forums but have yet to see/find a fix.

Just hoping someone here can point me in the right direction to fix the issue.

Perhaps a bad anchor tag or size def somewhere?

Its a new 1.5.10 install, php 5 & mysql 5 etc.

Update, still no joy.

I have gone through tons of floats, percentages changed to absolute px sizes, etc, etc.

Firebug shows me the divs that are stretching too far to the right but changing them to an absolute pixel size does nothing, my right column will NOT show when displaying anything from CB.

If you have ANY ideas or suggestions on things to try, PLEASE post them, this is an issue that effects alot of people (4 on Yootheme and 6 on Rockettheme from my searches...).

Is there a div or a table or ANYTHING that allows an overall size adjustment to what CB will claim as its own?

Im sure this is a simple issue but it is driving me nuts.

CB 1.2 *Stable* has all things needed to render into a valid and well-made joomla template, and validates W3C.

Does your template even validate ?

well, nope, 356 errors + warnings.

You will need to start there... or contact your template provider to do the work for you.

Awww, i actually get Beats attention and I blew it by having the site all broken.

The mess that is there are the results of my fumbling around attempting to correct the issue.

I put up a clean 1.5.10 with a fresh CB Install, everything currently validates and the issue is still there.

Here is the alternate site that validates:

I seem to be traveling in circles, not knowing if the fault lies in CB or the template itself since all other componants allow the modules in the right column to render.

If you look at a CB profile, the right column disappears, there IS a module set to 'Show On All Pages' in the 'Right' column (its the CB whos online module).

I added some common joomla componants that are often used with CB, If you click thier corresponding link from the main menu, you can see the right column works with these other componants (Eventlist, PU Arcade & Sobi 2 are on the site and the right column works fine).

Using Firebug, I dont even see the right column being called in the source when a CB page is displayed.
