Is there a way of removing the 'no image' graphic whilst maintaining the ability for users to upload their own image?

Code wise I don't know. But you could replace it with a 1 pixel transparent gif file...

For anyone else attempting this there is just one problem, I initially tried deleting / replacing the nophoto.jpg and the tnnophoto.jpg in the following directory:

com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/images/

but I was blocked. I have tried FTP and Cpanel and within each there was something stoping me deleting or renaming the files.

In FTP I get a critical transfer error'
In Cpanel I get 'Permission denied'

I eventually done it by deleting the jpg files using JoomlaExplorer and then uploading the new image (with the same file name), again using JoomlaExplorer.

Is it possible to have those fields which are of type image to have no default image at all?

I changed one of the field type to image so the admin can insert an image in that field thru phpmyadmin. Some of the CB profiles I have are supposed to have images while others don't. Putting a transparent image lets the field appear in the profile with no value. I don't want it to appear in the profile when there is no image.

Any suggestions please? Thanks!!
