I want to make some modifications to the default registration procedure:

Basically I want the user to enter upon registration only the fields
- Name
- Email address
- Country
- and some other self-defined fields.

After confirmation by the user and approval by the admin, the system should generate a random password like 'Lo4rU2wd', and the loginname is the same as the email address.

Besides this, is it possible that when the user changes the email address in his profile, that also the login name AKA username changes accordingly and that the admin and also the user receive a notification email?

Any hints appreciated.
