I am having an issue when trying to manually confirm users in the CB User managment. When I confirm, I've got the following message:
DB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'sbviewtype' in 'field list' SQL=UPDATE jos_comprofiler SET `sbviewtype`='',`sbordering`='',`sbsignature`='',`user_id`='75',`firstname`='Nick',`middlename`='',`lastname`='A.',`approved`='1',`confirmed`='1' WHERE id='75'
SQL =
UPDATE jos_comprofiler SET `sbviewtype`='',`sbordering`='',`sbsignature`='',`user_id`='75',`firstname`='Nick',`middlename`='',`lastname`='A.',`approved`='1',`confirmed`='1' WHERE id='75'
Looks like some how the field "sbviewtype" no longer exists in your database. Check out the jos_comprofiler table via phpmyadmin or something similar. If that is the case you will need to delete the field in CB and recreate it again.

I had a similar error message... I deleted the fields and I'm trying to recreate them... but when i try to create a field it insists on putting cb_ before the field name.
so i can't recreate the fields that I need to
sbviewtype
sbordering
sbsignature
Is there a way round this. It can be done cos I managed somehow to create the sbviewtype field but I don't know how.
I'm not sure why these fields were missing, I installed the latest version of CB onto joomla 1.0.4 stable. Other than that it seems to be working ok.
and this time I worked out how to stop it prefixing sbordering with cb_
So in case anyone else finds this thread and has the same problem... here the way to do it...
You need to type the field name i.e. sbordering
Then click the curser so it's flashing before the s
Then hit return.
Then you should be able to move away from the field name without it adding the cb- prefix... you may need to try it once or twice.. I know there should be a logic to it somewhere!!
