[#2699] Links to article creation not working post-upgrade

I recently upgraded my client's CBSubs from 1.0.3 to 1.2.2

I had previously had links on the front-end of the site, for certain subscriptions, that would allow the users to create and/or edit articles. I am now getting 404 errors on these links after upgrading. I use CBSubs content integration to restrict which sections/categories users have access to. I had also upgraded the Content integration plugin.

Here is what they are running:
URL: www.avonlocalschools.org
Joomla 1.5.23
CB 1.4
CBSubs 1.2.2

I can PM admin and front-end login credentials if needed!

Also, the menu items that would allow this same user to edit articles in their assigned category no longer work. Actually, the link itself does go to the category listing, but there are no EDIT icons displaying.

The subscriptions were set to Lifetime.

I could not duplicate on a clean J1.5, CB 1.7, and CBSubs 1.2.2 install. I've reviewed your install and can't see anything that would cause such an issue. If possible please upgrade to recently released CB 1.7 and confirm if issue still present.

It did not work. I looked back at my original post, and I realized that I made a mistake. The site is throwing 403 errors, not 404. I have attached a screenshot.



I had upgraded CB immediately before I had upgraded CBSubs.

I can recreate menu links to create an article, but then the Section and Category drop-downs show all items, not just the ones the logged in user should have access to.

I attempted to create a new user, to see if this problem persists. It does. However, when I attempt to log in as this user and access a menu item linked to article creation, I get the Joomla error that I am not authorized to access the resource.

And that's what I am getting from all logged-in users who should have access.
