I recommend adding a free trial period to your plan; please see the following configuration example.
Is the first amount and period different: Different first period and price for Registration and Upgrade
First payment price of plan: 0
Initial validity duration: 30
This would give the potential subscriber 30 days of activity before their payment would be required.
