How do users change their credit card

9 years 11 months ago #115494 by tlawson84005
I'm using the latest version of CBSubs. I am using CBSubs to charge a recurring subscription fee to my site. Some of my users want to change their credit card information. I couldn't find a way to change it. They only thing I see on the subscription tab on the CB Profile is "Cancel" subscription. They don't want to cancel, they want to change their credit card.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. Does anyone know how to do this?

What payment gateway are you using? If it's Paypal then they need to login to their Paypal account and change the credit card there. If it's Authorize.net I believe you'd have to do this for them manually (am not completely familiar with how Authorize.net handles payments).

I'm using both. I understand how to change it with PayPal. It's not obvious how to change it with Authorize.net. In fact, they don't have an account with Authorize.net. That's why it's better than PayPal. The CBSubs interface is what needs to allow users to make a change with their credit card.

In CBSubs 1.0.3 it's a cancel and re-subscribe.
CBSubs 1.1 should bring a "change credit card" function for authorize.net ARB.
You might be able to do it for the customer in auth.net admin side.

Currently there is not a time frame for when 1.1 will release. We're working as quickly and efficiently as possible, but we prefer not to provide timeframes, release dates, etc... The best I can offer is "when it's ready".
