I did go to (Line 537 of the components->com_comprofiler->plugin->language->cbpaidsubscriptionsenglish->english.php) and it didn't have any effect on the frontend. Was there anything else i should have done when installing the CBSub language plugin?? I read that it would publish itself after install.

Make sure to keep your changes backed up, so that you don't overwrite them when upgrading.
There is no strings changes between 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 in frontend, so no need to change the language plugin.
