i have tried that before...

that is what i get:

marcio.lovenetwork.net.au:8083/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&Itemid=69&task=userDetails&uid=[user_id]

It does not bring the user_id value?

:(

I'll try to explain again.
1 - I have a Editor Text area field
2 - I placed: <a href="index.php?option=com_comprofiler&amp;Itemid=69&amp;task=userDetails&amp;uid=[user_id]">&lt; Edit this Profile</a>

it does not work.... how can i fix that?

Substitutions aren't going to work for a field you've put on a profile then edited your profile and added the link. Use a delimiter field and add it to the delimiter field from backend.
