Complete solution for your membership site

The CB Team has just released version 1.1 of the CB Contacts component. This component is based on the Mambo and Joomla Contact components but has been altered to integrate with Community Builder version 1.1 and improve its usability. The new component can be used instead of the Joomla or Mambo core contact component. It has been tested on Joomla 1.0.X series, Joomla 1.5 RC2 and Mambo 4.5.5/4.6.2. CB 1.1 is required for the new CB Contacts 1.1 component.

This component has all the existing functionality of its Joomla/Mambo origin with the following additional CB related integrations and improvements:

• A contact can be linked to CB profile
• If a logged in member uses the CB contact form to email a website contact, then he doesn't have to type-in his name and email (those are used from his CB profile) and the email sent to the contact will contain additional information regarding the member-sender (primary email address and name/username according to CB settings, as well as the URL to the user's profile)
• In case of server-side validation errors, the email form text is not lost – thus users don’t have to retype text.
• No displaying of categories, if only one category is available with multiple emails (removes extra steps)
• More precise regexp matching for valid email addresses
• Integrated CB events API (so it is captcha 2.0 enabled)

The license of the component is GPL, so you can install it on any number of sites, have full source-code, and all GPL freedoms associated with it. It can be downloaded – free of charge – from the CB Team releases area in the Joomlapolis download section by any registered and logged in Joomlapolitan.

Once downloaded, please unzip package to reveal component zip file and README.txt file containing basic installation instructions.
