The CB Team has released version 1.8 of the GroupJive extension. All Joomlapolitans can download this free GPL package from the CB Team download area. This is the first stable release of Groupjive from the CB Team. All GroupJive websites need to upgrade to this stable release as it not only fixes all identified issues but CB Team standard security hardenings have been applied throughout the GroupJive 1.8 codeset. This makes GroupJive 1.8 a highly recommended security release. We are already working and have made considerable progress (in testing as we speak) on a completely rewritten GroupJive 2.0 which will take full advantage of the CB API framework. A huge thank you should go to Kyle who has managed nicely to complete this task and progress on 2.0 version while handling the forums in parallel! |
