TOPIC: Edit profile page leads to site default index page

Edit profile page leads to site default index page 1 year 8 months ago #174671

I have a strange problem with a site that I am building.

If I try to enter the comprofiler page in front end it is fine, but when I try to edit my profile or edit the picture I am taken to the default index page of the site instead.

The same goes for the user list, if I click on a user in the user list I am taken to the default index page of the site.

I tried to uninstall comprofiler and installed it again but the error remains.
I am using joomla 1.7

So any inputs?

If that solves my problem I am truly sorry:blush:

I will get back if that does not help me!

Ok, I have uninstalled CB and did the installation all over again, as instructed in the manual.

I have the comprofiler as a public menu item but the problem is exactly like before.
I did not delete the database when I uninstalled CB, I only uninstalled it in admin, does that matter?

if you have SEF enabled, disabled it and try again.
