I got this from a client...
I used to be able to upload a photo directly from a user edit screen under community builder (selecting "Upload profile image" from the drop down on the Portrait tab). Then it wouldn’t let me. So I moved their images into Gallery under comprofiler in the media manager (one of the drop down options for uploading a photo). Now it doesn’t let me upload from there either. I have resized the photos to 100 X 250 and saved them in a jpg format prior to uploading (it is supposed to resize them automatically, but it stopped doing that a while back as well).

With error reporting on I get this error...
