regarding list management, is there a way to search for users directly in a module (in the frontend) instead of a separate Site (as component)?

Right now, I am linking directly to the user search on a separate Page, but I want to implement it on the left sidebar as a module.

I tried to find a way but got frustrated in the process. Could anybody help?

I am using Joomla 2.5.4. and Community Builder 1.8
