Having an odd problem.

System is setup so that users can register, but must be approved by admin.

Here is the problem.
Users can register and receive confirmation email. However when they click on the link they are not brought to the CB verification page, but to the standard Joomla version (i.e. using-joomla/extensions/components/users-component/login-form)

I'm at a loss of what is causing it. I had installed K2, but after uninstalling I still had issues. I don't understand php well and am confused as to why if I have the Joomla login module disabled, why it is still called in this situation.

I recently upgraded my Joomla installation (auto-upgrade from 2.5.13). Prior to the install it worked. Did this cause this issue?

(I'm also having issues with the registration email/confirmations (trying to figure that one out too)

Please help - I'm losing my mind.
