Hi guys, i need to clearify some details about the confirmation link that is sent to users upon registration.
First of all, i want to explain what i want to do:
lets say i imported data of my users/clients to the cb database tables (jos_comprofiler and jos_users) and need to send them email with their details and confirmation link to activate the account (in case they want to participate in this new project) , currently this is demanded by the european data protection law.
So, i also created some test users through normal registration process (while others are imported directly into the database).
I send the email to my test users and the confirmation link shows fine, while when i try to send email to one of those imported users, the confirmation link is not complete, it ends at the com_comprofiler&task=confirm&confirmcode=
so the confirmcode is missing and even if i input it manually to the database, doesn`t work. Am i missing something?
is there any other parameters at the database for confirmcode activation?
