[Solved] Newly registered member get 404 error when logging in for the first time was created by andex12
Newly registered member get 404 error when logging in for the first time.
I am using cb 1.8.1 and Joomla 2.5.7.
The login page is supposed to redirect user to user profile page. However, the page is somehow redirected to a page that doesn't exist. This only happens on the first login. However, the user has already logged in when checked by going to other pages. Then, the problem is gone after it happens once.
This is a big confusion for new users. Any help is appreciated.

Finally I got the cause of the problem. This problem might appear when SEF URL is enabled. It is the the case for me.
To fix the issue. I went to community builder component ---> Configuration ----> Registration and went to the bottom "URL for first login vist".
Under URL for first login visit, I changed index.php?option=com_comprofiler to /members/my-profile
