So I just downloaded/installed the CB. I go into the Fields area and am trying to remove fields that are not necessary and am bombarded with the error:
Cannot unpublish row id 44 because: System fields publish state cannot be changed!
Why? If I don't need it, why can't I unpublish it? Sounds like a bug.

Well I don't need:
canvas
formatname, since I already have firstname and lastname fields
middlename
pm
acceptedterms
avatar
Plus, we have users that share the same emails but use different username/password. So do I have to go to the database to make sure the 'email' field is set to not be unique?

So is there a way to remove these fields without having to modify the database?

No = those fields are meant to be there - if you remove from database you will run into problems.

No = those fields are meant to be there - if you remove from database you will run into problems.
