I get a text when I get a message...You set it up under the CB login module in the button. choose UddeLM

But I want it to be seen like an icon...

with the cb profile book and cb connection...does anyone know how it can be done.

Yes, under the profile there is a messages icon. Click on it to see email, but pm should be here too.
