When I go to the config page in backend I see this message:

When I press continue, nothing happens?

What should I do, if I uninstall the package, do I loose all the users messages, ie. does it clean out the DB?

Just did a quick test on a test site, I can delete the component without loosing old messages.
The testsite is a clone created with akeeba backup af few days ago, and on that I can access the UDDEIM backend.
I'm very confused now, I haven't done any big updates the last few days, I've fiddled a bit with ignite gallery, and I've tried to revert the change, I've also updated universal ajax search, but disabling that didn't change anything either.
I've uninstalled the oomponent, and reinstalled it, but I still see the same result, and I think that now the component is not configured, as I can't get in to do a config restore???

There is already a topic about this issue.

The solution was to switch off "uddeIM integration" in Kunena.
Maybe Kunena uses "global" directive to access these variables.

Ok, disabling it made it work.
Odd though that it works on my testsite with the kunena plugin enabled, hmm?
