I've just upgraded to 9b and I'm very happy so far.

Here are the things I'd like to see in UDDLE future releases.

1. Prevention of mass mailings. I have users who just copy a block of spam and send it out to 300 members. I'd like to see a script which checks the message content and bounces it back to the writer and notifies the admin. If the text is the same as other messages he's sent uddle gives him a message "bulk messages are not allowed and the system admin has been notified."

2. Back end administration of messages (view, edit, delete, moderate etc). Right now to check for spammers, I have to use phpmyadmin and browse the messages that way. Perhaps a "view/edit all messages from username xxx" would be nice.

3. Restrictions on being able to send messages to anyone or only connections.

4. Captcha.

I have added these items to the tracker.

1. Bouncing back mass email makes no sense in a PMS. Maybe the user can be blocked after a certain number of messages. Please make a feature request on the tracker.

Perhaps "bouncing back" isn't a great way of saying this.

I'd like to see a pop up window, JS or other which says "the contents of this mail are exactly the same as other email(s) you've sent. Mass emails are not allowed."

AH I see. You see administration of private messages as a privacy issue. Ok I'll grant you that. BUT I still need to prevent people from sending out 500 copies of the same damn message!

by the way, in phpmyadmin I can see the first few characters of each message without reading the whole thing so I can tell if it's a bulk message without reading the whole thing.
