I am using the SEF that is include with Joomla 1.5, strange thing this. Unless it is a conflict with another script.

Have you enabled SEF (url rewriting) in your htaccess file?

Have you created a menu entry for uddeIM? It can be unpublished but must exist.

I am using the standard htaccess file in Joomla 1.5, besides only problem related with SEF that I have observed is the uddeim module. Do I have to add a specific uddeim rule to htaccess? Which one?

I appreciate your help!

FIXED BY ADDING THIS TO PAGE CLASS SUFFIX:&task=inbox

Could you send post picture, what you have done exactly? Sorry, what you describe makes no sense.

When I checked you page I saw that e.g.
www.politicaboricua.com/interactivo
brings a 403 error, so I think that there is something wrong with the SEF configuration or there might be a problem with the template. But adding "$task=inbox" to the page class suffix will not change anything exept it will break the styling (btw checking the page source shows that this has not changed anything).

I installed the same version (RC3) of uddeIM on a Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable - when I try to call it there is only a blank page

I´m using also sh404SEF - but I configured to skip when uddeIM is called...

any ideas???

No, I use the build-in SEF only. There are some threads about sh404SEF so you should check these first.

The blank page may be shown when no menu link to the component exists. When you update a component you have to recreate the menu link otherwise it has the wrong itemid.
