Ha, that's it. You gave me the right kick
But I think it's not the mail client but my mailserver or one instance in the whole queue.
Here is some content of the mail header:
[code:1]X-Spam-Status: No, score=1.2 required=6.0 tests=AWL,MISSING_MIMEOLE,
SUBJECT_NEEDS_ENCODING autolearn=no version=3.2.3
....
X-Amavis-Alert: BAD HEADER, Non-encoded 8-bit data (char FC hex): Subject:
Nachrichten f\374r dich auf xxx
....
Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 07:56:06 +0100
....
Subject: Nachrichten fXr dich auf xxx
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
....
Content-Transfer-encoding: 8bit
....
X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook, Build 11.0.5510
....
tests= MISSING_MIMEOLE SUBJECT_NEEDS_ENCODING
....[/code:1]
So you can see, I'm using the same client as you
The Amavis line seems the first one with wrong subject. Perhaps I have to look at its configuration.
When I check the headers of the mail which comes from the "official" mail server everything is correct.
Thank you and sorry for bothering you with this kind of private problem
At least thank you very much for taking care of the uddeim project. It's really the very best around there! Good work!!
