I am using the uddeim module which displays new (unread) messages. I would like to display the first two or three messages in the module even when read.

Is it possible? Has anyone done this?

There is one SQL query in the module which gets the message from the database.

Remove "a.toread=0 AND" from this query.

How would I limit the amount of output that would then be produced? I don't want it displaying the whole inbox.

Have you checked the settings yet?

btw: When you modify the SQL query, the module still says "you have xxx new messages". So you should modify the language string as well.

I do not recommend these modifications! For that purpose you can use the "inbox plugin" for CB.
