Is there a way to change the colour in the default template of the To, Message, User List and Connections? I just want to make it a little lighter than black.

Sure, check the template folder /components/com_uddeim/templates. There you will find a file named "uddeim.css". Just add or change the codes according your needs.

Ok got it sorted!! i was doing that but it wasnt changing at first so i thought i was doing something wrong.

I can now read the message being sent.
