Yes, its very close to RTM.
Unfortunately there are several language files waiting for updates.

I have very reliable and ambitious translators for finnish, french, chinese and one or two other languages but for some other languages I still need people who can translate them.

brazilian_portuguese.php 0.5b
bulgarian.php 0.5b
catalan.php 0.6b
danish.php 0.5b
dutch.php 1.0
english.php up2date
finnish.php up2date
french.php 1.1
germanf.php up2date
germani.php up2date
greek.php 1.1 partial
hebrew.php 1.0rc1
hrvatski.php 0.5b
hungarian.php up2date
italian.php 1.1
polish.php 0.5b
romanian.php 0.5b
russian.php 1.1
simplified_chinese.php 1.1
spanish.php 0.5b
srpski.php 0.5b
swedish.php 0.5b
traditional_chinese.php up2date
turkish.php 1.1 partial

I wonder if there aren't any brazilian,
bulgarian, catalan, danish, polish, romanian, spanish, serbish or swedish uddeIM powered web sites?

Portuguese would be nice to have.

No, uddeIM 1.2 will not be native yet.

To be honest actually there is no need to make every component "native". The legacy plugin provides an API which translates "old style" calls into J1.5 calls. There is no performance loss at all and well designed 1.0 components should not interfere with J1.5 components.

The only issue is that "1.5 native" sounds better than "1.0 legacy" but there is really no disadvantage using 1.0 legacy components.

I'll ask my friends if they would mind. They only thing is is that it won't be long b4 there will be no legacy plug-in anymore. I think as 1.5 becomes more developed that gap is only going to widen.

Don't think so.

When you operate a commercial website and have paid for the development of custom components the invest must be good for maybe four years or longer. Dropping the legacy plugin would mean that commercial websites will stay longer with J1.0.

So don't panic. Actually there are no plans to drop the legacy plugin very soon. And when they are dropping it I have still enough time to make uddeIM J1.5 compatible.
