I'm setting up an e-learning portal and want to use Joomla as the front-end. I'm also using Moodle for all the class/lessons stuff.

What I would like to do is fill the database with all the student usernames & passwords before the students show up at the start of the course. I'm considering using CB because of the community side of it as I the students will be working in unspecified groups to work on various projects. I will also have another group of user - the tutors.

Once a user logs in I would like tutors to be directed to (for example) their admin pages, and the students to be directed to either their own homepage, or even on to moodle.

Question is this scenario possible with CB? If not - any suggestions? Thanks in advance...
