How to disable "Send Email" from profile

I know, I am so special... lol.

Anyway, I installed the plugin from Community Builder's plugin installer and then I get that message when I click on the plugin's name to see what options there are to configure for it.

Can provide access if you'd like to take a look.

Hmm, I'm also trying to disable the email function for users. But I cannot find any possibility to disable this function in the CB configuration. Actually there should be a possibility edit the tab where the email function is shown...but no way.

Additionally the profiles in the connections list provide the email function as well and I was not able to disable it there either.

Does anybody have a clue how to solve this?
(I found another thread about the same topic where somebody suggested to suppress the email menue point by editing the template's css...but this does not seem to be an adequate solution to me)
