where is my SMF? was created by HJB
I did an initional install...first time and it seem to be smooth but whenever I click the forum or blog link I will get this message:

Simpleboard forum component is not installed. Please contact your site administrator.

Simple board is in the CB plugin and is published. What should I do to make it work?

I don't use SMF but I do know that it requires a separate joomla component and or bridge to be installed. Look around for that at extensions.joomla.org/ .

Also look for the SMF software (also required) at www.simplemachines.org/

I got most of the configurations working now. There is a single login now for the joomla, CB and SMF, except that the admin for the SMF forum has to login through the forums.

Now the only problem is with the profile taps in the CB for the SMF forums. I have copied the images to give you guys a better picture of what the problem is.

As you can see from the above pic. it's still reading simpleboard forum not installed.

This is the plugin manager in CB and you can see the simple board there.

This is the details of the simpleboard plugin.

Is SMF the same as simpleboard and if not how can I replace that with SMF and get it to work?

Thanks in advance for your help and patience.

You're using the CB plugin for Joomlaboard/Simpleboard (wrong forum component).

Try using the CB plugins for SMF located at www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,41/func,select/id,88/

You may already have these downloaded. Take a look and see what you need. I've never used SMF so I don't know what CB plugins are required for proper integration...but this should be a start for you.

Good luck!
