In the backedn the user has three fiels:
enabled
confirmed
approved

I am not sure about the meaning. This is what i think - am I right?

enabled: what does this mean?
confirmed: if user confirmed his email address
approved: has to be done by admin

Can you help me with enabled? Because since i installed the new version there is always a cross for "enabled"

enabled means not banned, or able to login.

if you set confirmation required then the user is not enabled untill confirmed.

a user can login without being confirmed if you do not required confirmation and will be enabled after signup.

to ban a user, i switch their status to disabled.

if you set aproval required then the enabled will not switch to enabled unless the user is approved.

enabled is kinda like the master switch for that account, and it toggles along with the other settings depending on your settings.
