I'm a newbie to community builder. I installed the components and corresponding modules today, customized the fields for registration.

my site is aimed for use by both car dealers and clients, which raises the question of assigning different groups to them after they register with us. To achive this, I added a field (check box) in the registration page. If they are car dealers, they should check this checkbox to assig them to the dealer group, otherwise the client group will be assigned. However, I don't know how to assign and retrieve the group they choose. Anyone can give me a hint? such as: how to assign the group the users choose when registering?
