Rsgallery2 is growing, and I believe its the best gallery component there is for joomla. The problem is that I don't know enough to program. Can anybodey help them to write a cb plugin for rsgallery2? The plugin should show the images of a user in a tab of his/her profile

What you can do then is to arrange a fundraiser and hire someone to code it. It is really unlikely that things just appear when asked. And on the other hand, for example advanced search was implemented this way.

What is it exactly a fundraiser? Is it a sponsor?

Fundraiser is an effort to raise funds, or collect money, in other words. This is done for some preannounced purpos and when sufficient amount of funds has been raised, the funds are used towards the purpose they were raised for.
