Something I'd like to see is a flag in CB Configuration to send an email to a defined email address whenever a user updates their profile.

I'm building a website for a child daycare center and CB tabs are being created for the various pieces of Parent information the school keeps track of. Parents will be able to manage their own information, but obviously the school needs to be able to update their paper files.

An email notification of a change would let them know to update their paper records.

If something like this already exists, please let me know.

Does not exists, but would be relatively straighforward to implement as a plugin. If you have a budget, you will probably get this for a hundred or two at joomlancers.

I've completed writing this plug-in and it can now be downloaded on my distribution site, joomlander.net. I've offered to make it available here on joomlapolis.com as well. It's also been submitted for publishing on Joomla! Extensions and is awaiting approval.
