I have a problem with the latests post tab, when I click the topic of a latest post it is basically just going to /site/forums/viewtopic instead of domainname.com/site/foums/viewtopic

I assume this has something to do with the setting "Directory for phpBB" but if I put in my full path in there including domain name I get crazy errors when trying to view the profile.

Sorry if this problem has been posted before.

The path that should be input for the "Directory for phpBB" is the relative path from the DOCUMENT_ROOT of the website...

Default Case:
So if phpBB is at www.yoursite.com/forum then the Directory should be set to "forum"

Alternate Case:
So if phpBB is at www.yoursite.com/forum/phpbb2 then the Directory should be set to "forum/phpbb2"

The answer to your first question is yes... Without that directory set correcly then nothing in the connector will work correctly because it won't know how to get the phpBB files so it can find the tables, login functions, etc.

I have the setting correct then, the board works fine otherwise. it's just the profile tab when you click the latest forum post it will basically open for example http://phpbb/forum/viewtopic.php in a new window which is the wrong path

It should open it as a relative link (relative to your website) i.e. the link should be

/phpbb/viewtopic?t=.... (without the http in front)

Just out of curiosity what is your forum path set to? make sure it does not start with a /

If you look in the page source the link should look like

href="/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8"

it's fine the problem was the beginning slash..
changed from /site/forums
to site/forums and it worked fine....dumb little error on my part. Thanks for the help.
