when a guest views the forum and tries to post or enter a registered user topic/board, they are directed to the phpBB login. I noticed this on the cbconnector.com forum too.

is there a fix to this?

had not thought of that one yet... I will double check and see what needs modified...

I made some modifcations, 2 individual hacks.

login_body.tpl uses the existing forum login but now posts form to log you in as if you were loging into CB_login

and

login.php redirects to a given URL instead of taking the user to the forum login.

check em out, use either one. let me know if it helps anyone.

This breaks the admin login. Back to the drawing board...

just took a quick look... when replying or posting a new topic and you are not logged in (and the topic requires it)... then on line 363 of posting.php is the line that redirects them to the forum login...

You can modify that line to point to the Joomla/CB login... the only thing I don't know is that I am not currently sure how to have the login redirect the user to the forum reply/post after logging in???

Also can't remember if it was you or someone else... but the URL that is sent in e-mail notifications for "watched topics" is on line 660 of functions_post.php... make sure and leave the [code:1]'U_TOPIC' =>[/code:1] code still in tact though.

Thought this might help a little though...
