After searching through the forum I was able to figure out how to get it working.
You should indicate in your read me to use the wrapper for putting the forum into Joomla.
I installed:
Joomla 1.0.11
Latest CBuilder
1.03 of Php-connector
Works great! I look forward to V2.0
