When I click on the control panel link, it gives me:

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/configuration.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/[mysite]/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_phpbbconnector/phpbbgui.php on line 27

Everything is there and I have the latest version of all three required things.
What can I do?

i have this problem too..this is why i have abandoned CB and Phpbb...

It never works properly

Your problem is the RG_EMULATION is turned off. What this does is cleans out any global variables that are set when Joomla's globals.php file is run (which is included just prior to the configuration.php file you are seeing the error about.

Version 1.0.3 (from cbconnector.com) has the patch installed already for this change in Joomla... otherwise you can search this forum and there is a thread which discusses the fix required...

that has no effect on it..not matter how i set the RG emulation it wont work

Are you referring to RG emulation (on the Joomla side), or RG as defined by PHP.ini?
