This has been posted by another guy with the same stupid question. It worked for the smarter guy who first posted the question here, but not for me. I even don't know how to edit the user table in phpmyadmin. I would be very pleased if you could tell me more about that.

Sorry molee... I could have sworn the usernames were the same when I looked. I was distracted by a printer mishap.

If you aren't familiar with changing a database, I'd have someone do it for you... unless someone with more knowledge than me can post a query for you.

If you want to try yourself, backup first! Then use phpMyAdmin to go into the database. Select your joomla database. Find jos_comprofiler and Browse. Find the username that's blocked, choose edit and change confirmed column from 0 to 1.
