I have downloaded cb 1.1 suite
I have unzipped the top-level package to my hard drive.
I have read the readme file.
I have logged on to my admin function (RC3), turned on legacy mode and selected Install from the Extensions Manager.
I have browsed to the com_comprofiler.zip and selected upload and install.
I get the good old "no xml setup" found error message and a whole pile of other messages.

So I unzipped the com_profiler package to my local hard drive and used ftp to transfer the folder/ sub-folders to the /components directory on my host.
Having done that I couldn't see it listed in my component manager.

I have looked at the CB forums and find posts where people have installation problems but no replies that help me with my problem.

So I appear to be completely stymied. Anybody help me please?
