My joomla 1.12 site (w/ old CB) crashed. The joomla php file was all screwed up. I took that oportunity to just upgrade to 1.13. Then of course I realized my cb login mod wouldn't work. So Now i'm trying to install CB 1.1 but am having trouble. I've read hundreds of posts to no avail.
i uninstalled the old CB (not the plugins). Then I uploaded the CB component (or tried). When I choose the file to be instaled, the IE window looks busy but after about 5 min it displays an error page saying the page can not be found or something to that effect. I really need help on this one.
I read something about turning off PHP safe mode but I don't think it is on safe mode.
Please help.
