Just wondering if it is possible to fill in user fields from the backend being an admin. We have already a set of users for which I want to use CB to add several fields.
Of course I'm going to ask the users to fill al fields, but I'm sure there are people who are a bit eh...well..eh.. less responsive.
Added to that, there may be a few fields which I want to fill myself and do not want the users to see or fill. Is that possible?

Another question: I know that from the user list it is possible to send a message to another user. Is there a plugin or module with which a user can select multiple/all other users (checkboxes?) a message or email...

Hoping to hear from you; just purchased the jUser-component, but that has a few downsides for me....

Yes.

Not checkboxes per se... but you can use UddeIM and send to multiple users or several addons allow you to send to groups etc.

Thanks for the quick and positive reply! So these multiple contact-messaging is only possible via IM and not email (copying all email-adresses into the CC-field of an email while invoking the user's email-client for instance?

I believe you'd need another plugin or extension to do this. CB protects email addresses by allowing email through form, so users can't see the actual address.
