SEF issue with LIST Changer (the dropdown feature)

I checked the Tips & Tricks, did not see a solution or workaround for this issue. It disables the Search function, too, as all searches go to 404.

I checked on SH404SEF forums and the designer seems to think it is a CB issue. Not sure where to turn on this. Is there an alternate way to search user profiles? I'm more concerned about that than the dropdown box problem.
