OK this is what I want to do. When someone is logged into the website using CB. Then they click on a link to a registration page (non Joomla/ColdFusion app). I want the ColdFusion page to be able to prepopulate fields from CB profile.

1. Is that possible? I do not want it passed in a url due to security.
2. If yes where do I go to find out the cb profile ID for the member?
3. Do I just need the profile ID and requery in ColdFusion and prepopulate? or do I transfer over the information in a session Variable?

Any help would be great. I tried searching, but I do not know what to call this to find anything.

There used to be a plugin that pulled the user ID like you're speaking of. Unfortunately, the developer and the plugin seem to be unavailable. You may be stuck with creating your own or having someone look for you unless you want to manually check the database through phpmyadmin.

I just found something else you may look into: Plugin - Friends Update ... kind of cool idea by krileon . He probably deserves some karma for this.
