I suggest you add a paypal donate button for general donations to the project. This should be on most pages of the site.

This would not be for subscriptions, but would be for:

1) People who have already subscribed, but want to make an occasional small or large donation (instead of buying a cup of coffee at Starbucks, for example).

2) People who cannot afford a subscription but want to donate anyway. (It should be made clear that any donations would not apply towards subscriptions).
