hi,

i think the biggest problem is, that many peoples "cry" and many peoples aim with stones to beat and developers...

The developers have more work in the forum with unqualified post´s where many peoples cry for release and a lot of unsuccesfull discussions about the way of release instead for waiting... nobody has quest about the bug´s and nobody wrote how can help... only quest like

"when it´s ready ?"
Answer: ASAP (as soon as possible)

3 post´s later...
"when it´s ready ?"
Answer: Again... ASAP....

2 post´s later...
the first person compare the way of release with a "crime"...

this is a possible way why the threads are locked...

@blackice2999:

No...that isn`t correct...the topics have been locked, because the developers of cb have taken the money, we have paid for doc subscription, traveled to hawaii and have nice holidays... ;-)

Taking that one as a joke

Well, untrue for 3 reasons:
1) there is not enough subscriptions coming in to pay for such an expensive holiday :D
2) we would get bored there, without our screens ;)
3) we have as main priority to release CB 1.2 RC :woohoo:

There is no problem discussing things, just those threads became way to frustrating for people to watch and for us to moderate as a few persons (out of a lot, very small minority) got out of topic several times, not understanding that drawing our concentration out of final tests and debugs to go moderate those threads because of innacceptable personal attacks to other joomlapolitans (sometimes to us too) wasn't helping the community to get CB faster at all.

Also there were some posts which show a misconception and need a reply, and we don't want to take time off release to write a detailed reply right now.

Finally lots of persons subcribed to get informed of release, and we wanted to keep email noise not to high for them too.

Ok, enough talk, Back to work on CB.
:woohoo:
