I recently migrated from 1.0 to 1.5 and in doing so also upgraded my CB installation to 1.2.1. I imported the old CB tables and installed the new CB, configured it with very few problems. I did this on two test servers and it worked fine and took new registrations fine.
I then repeated all the above steps on a subdomain of my 'real' site and everything looks and acts good with the exception of the registration. It simply will NOT accept any email that is used for a new registration. Everytime a javascript box pops up and says... 'please enter a valid email address'.
I've tried email addresses from my own ISP which is charter and my brother's service which is sbcglobal as well as a number of others. Absolutely nothing works.
I've searched the joomla forums, these forums and google but don't come across anyone having this problem exactly.
