I'm building a new website for talent agency using CB/CBsubs. We have our talent list in a excel spreadsheet at the moment.

I was wondering whether you can use CBJuice to import users straight into CBSubs plans?
Or do you need to import into regular CB and then use the CBSubs import function?

I would like talent to be informed of their logon details etc only when the website is set up with CBSubs.

I worked through a version of this; maybe this topic will help you (go to the end for my results):

Basically, I did it 2-step ("you need to import into regular CB and then use the CBSubs import function"). Removed any first Activation emails under Presentation tab and unpublished the Email Plug-in (though that is not working anyway) to ensure no users were notified. Good luck.
