What is the difference between using the built in email settings (in the 'Presentation' tab of the Plan setup page) and the 'CB Subs Email' plugin?

The presentation one allows to send email to the user who subscribed

The email plugin allows to send another email to either the user who subscribed or any other address... e.g. specific email to admins, partners, the boss, or whoever.

Both support CB substitution to send profile info, and the email plugin also supports substitutions so it can send email to a user-provided email address.
