Joomla 1.5.23, CB 1.7, CB SUBs 1.2.2

Client wants to add donations to existing plans -- having trouble getting the setup right.

Currently THREE main plans (exclusive):

Professional
Student
Life (free)

I created a Donation plan and set it NONexclusive (OK), but when a Professional goes to renew (before calendar year expiry), she gets a "Renew for" BUTTON and the Donation Plan as checkbox. No way to RENEW and ADD donation. If you click the button, it invoices for the Renewal Fee; if you check the Donation box and click Upgrade/Donate, it invoices for just the donation fee.

???How can I make this so folks can:

• Renew and add donations (and other things -- like our banner ads, directory listings, etc) by checking down the list and then clicking Renew/Donate? ALL in ONE transaction?


• JOIN (first time member) and add donations (and other things -- like our banner ads, directory listings, etc) by checking down the list and then clicking Renew/Donate? ALL in ONE transaction?

Tried a combo of Parent/Child plans -- in which Professional (parent) had Donation as child, but with renewal before expiration it still gives a Renew Button (not a checkbox) so you can't renew and add a donation all at once.

If we want to capture donations our best bet is when they are registering!
